Our initiatives are the heartbeat of #ReclaimSA—concrete actions born from public ideas and powered by ordinary citizens like you. Each project represents our collective determination to create tangible change rather than just voice frustrations.
How Our Initiatives Are Created
Every initiative you see here originated from suggestions by ordinary South Africans through our submission forms, community discussions, and social media engagement. Our teams evaluate each idea based on:
- Impact potential – How many people will it benefit?
- Feasibility – Can we implement it with available resources?
- Alignment – Does it further our mission of reclaiming South Africa?
- Sustainability – Can we maintain this initiative long-term?
ReclaimSA has planned a national Economic Inclusion Protest for September 24th. This protest is more than a march; it’s the powerful, unified launch of our movement onto the national stage and a demonstration of what we can do as a nation when we are united.
Born from the collective frustration with economic exclusion, corruption, and inequality, this peaceful, legally-compliant demonstration is our first major step in visibly reclaiming our country’s future as the youth and citizens. It serves as the catalyst for all our subsequent initiatives, showing the strength of our numbers and our unwavering commitment to change. This is where our online community becomes tangible action. To learn more about how to participate safely, view protest locations, and understand the detailed plan behind this historic event, visit our dedicated protest information page.

Join the ReclaimSA Team!
All our initiatives are implemented by volunteer teams. Whether you have an hour a week or can make a more significant commitment, your skills are needed. Current initiatives have the following needs:
- Regional march organisers
- Content writers and editors
- Researchers for the Support Local database
- Social media amplifiers
- Graphic designers
- Legal observers for protest actions
- Tech support (website development, app development, cyber security, etc)
Please note that these are volunteering roles and not paying jobs. You can express interest in joining the team by filling out the #ReclamSA questionnaire and membership form. Do you have an idea for how we can create change? Let us know in the form, we want to hear from you!
Our movement is built on the wisdom and creativity of ordinary citizens.
